Axcent : Scandinavian Design
Many of the
Axcent watch designers are award-winning in international design and product
development, and some are affiliated with the renowned National
College of Arts, Crafts and Design (Konstfack) in Sweden. With more
than a century of artistic experience and inspiration, the college
has raised the most eminent Nordic designers.
By working with the National College of Arts, Crafts and Design,
Axcent of Scandinavia enhanced its boundaries with Scandinavian
design, being able to seize and comprehend arising trends and
influences before anyone else.
Known as trendsetters, Scandinavian designers have been showered
with international design awards through the decades. Not
surprisingly, Axcent of Scandinavia’s Flexible Pace by Sidsel and

with the Dot by Moa Paradis, also from the National College of Arts,
Crafts and Design, are displayed at the San Francisco Museum of

Broadband and design masterpiece Slip on, just to mention a few.
Specialised in product development and industrial design, Swedish No
Picnic design group is known for assignments for cell phone giant
Ericsson. The leading design agency in Scandinavia, No Picnic has
been awarded several prestigious awards, contributing to the success
of Axcent with the magical timepiece Frost, Influenced by race cars
and fashion of the 60s and 70s. Axcent of Scandinavia’s in-house
designer Daniel Jakobsson has introduced a dynamic retro collection.
Amongst other distinguished designers are Linda Tuvesson with the
trendy Eccentric and the award-winning design agency Summer.
